Safety, Quality & Production

Herman Weissker, Inc. maintains a full time staff of safety professionals. This staff is highly trained in all aspects of heavy construction. The staff has successfully completed courses at the University of California, San Diego, Department of Science Engineering and Environmental Studies, as well as, the United States Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The safety staff has regular training classes that are used to instruct all of our field personnel in all aspects of construction safety.In 2003, Turner Construction Company recognized Herman Weissker, Inc. as one of the contractors on their projects that made a major contribution to Turner’s safety performance and allowed them to be the first construction recipient of the CAL/OSHA VPP Star Award for Safety Excellence in the work place.
