Cable Plowing

The company has direct buried cable and conduit for many years by various methods.  Herman Weissker, Inc. has cable plows that will carry the cable on the front of the cable plow and feed it through rollers over the top of the machine, through a cable chute on the rear of the machine, and directly into the ground.  The company has trenchers and rock cutters that will also install the cable directly into the ground and each of these operations are followed by compaction and cleanup for a finished job.  The critical information for these operations is the type of ground, the size and composition of the cable, and the depth of cover required on the product.

The company has also removed direct-buried cable from the jobsite when the area and the right of way must be cleared because of environmental issues.  Our crews are experienced with the environmental issues that occur in the desert and other areas that are affected.
